    Hi Katie,

Your blog looks interesting! I would love to know how you beat candida. Where on your blog can I find this? I see a long list of blog posts – do I have to root through there or is there a location that describes how you beat it (ie, what methods you used).

    Thanks!

    • Hi Heidi-Ann
Thanks for leaving a message. I know its hard to root around my blog to find answers so I’ve made a separate website where I’ve tried to group everything together. You can visit it at http://www.beatcandidayeastinfections.com/

I’ve created a summary page to give people a quick overview of my approach at http://www.beatcandidayeastinfections.com/how-i-beat-candida-yeast.htm
But I would like to stress that the key for me was to focus on boosting my immune system as well as doing the usual anti-candida diet and taking anti-fungals. I also had colonic irrigation which I didnt like but it did get rid of a lot of candida and after that I was tested clear and its never come back. I dont recommend everyone has one as my candida might have been on its way out anyway. Its hard to tell.

I’ve spent ages building my website and I’m really hoping people find it useful. I would really appreciate your honest feedback.
      take care

  2. Hi Katie,
I have just realized that I too suffer from severe candida. I have been on the candida diet for 2 weeks and finding it extremely difficult to staff off fruits completely!! How long did it take before you could introduce these back into your diet?

    • Hi Rose

I had to avoid fruit when I was on the candida diet but then I started to suffer from constipation which is the last thing you need as a candida sufferer. Its vital to keep your system regular so I ended up eating 1 apple per day as that seemed to do the trick. I would have loved to have chosen a different fruit but I was advised strongly to avoid bananas (they add damp to the body in Chinese medicine. damp = candida I believe) and other fruits are too sugary. But we are all different so that’s just my experience.

      Take care
      Katie x
