The candida cleansing process takes a long time - sad, but true. And I can empathise; I am convinced my candida problems and hormonal imbalance are linked. So, I am resigned to sticking more or less to the diet in the long term. After three years I allow myself the occasional 'naughty' at the weekends, or on special occasions, but the rest of the time I stick fairly rigidly to the maintenance diet.
